INTRODUCTION

Hoard time, and not money.

The graph of man’s life on Earth is intriguing and puzzling. From the cradle to the grave, it’s a forward progression, constantly moving nonstop.

The different seasons and phases we go through, which culminate to form our life, are all measured in one critical unit called time. This is why the summation of a person’s stay on earth is called “Life-time.”

As much as many may hate to admit or remember, our time on earth is finite, and we have no control over it. It just passes.

What we have control over, however, is what we do with our time and whether we maximize it or not.

Daily, many people tirelessly pursue wealth and make more money, and many do so to amass wealth and hoard it.

Yet these same people pay little or no attention to the fact that time is ticking, moving, and going, never to come back.

Isn’t it funny that we keep chasing and hoarding something that can be regained at the expense of something that cannot?

Time cannot be regained, money can.

Once time is lost, it can’t be gotten back. This is why it is very crucial to use it well.

When you use time well, you enjoy a lot of advantages that can’t be gotten anywhere else.

To hoard time, below are five crucial points for using it well:

1. Productivity

Productivity at hoarding time

Time is not infinite or everlasting. It can be exhausting. You can exhaust the time meant for a specific thing and not have the time to do it anymore.

Using your time well leads to a productive, more fulfilling life without unnecessary regrets.

A student who chooses to give quality time to study and research is more likely to excel and gain more academic success than one who does not.

Employees who give time to hard work and smart work will also see the results.

Similarly, someone who devotes quality time to working out will live healthier and stronger.

Generally, when you make the most of your time, you are more likely to achieve a lot and be proud of your successes.

2. Fulfillment and Happiness

Respecting the time and using it well brings happiness and fulfillment in the long run.

When an Individual uses their time well and maximises it, they pay attention to activities that align with their values and focus on the things that matter.

This creates a fulfilling life for them and leads them to a pleasant future.

Making excellent use of time will likely produce a kind of satisfaction and fulfilment that transcends monetary gain.

You are satisfied and pleased, resting happily, knowing you have used your time effectively and not just wasted it.

3. Fewer regrets

Having fewer regrets in life

Most regrets people have in life stem from things they did not do. From the time that they did not spend correctly.

Managing your time effectively by setting goals and working towards accomplishing them, prioritizing tasks, and taking advantage of free time reduces your chances of having regrets in the future.

Using time properly to invest in honing your skills and perfecting your crafts makes you a prepared and preferred candidate when an opportunity comes knocking.

Regrets come when people fail to prepare for an opportunity and end up losing it.

They begin to wish they could turn back the hands of time.

Unfortunately, this is impossible.

This is why time must be cherished and maximised.

Erasing distractions and focusing on what matters more helps minimise regrets.

4. Reduced Stress

When you do the right thing at the right time, you won’t have to worry about it when you should be resting.

Adequate and proper management of your time helps lower your level of stress significantly.

Usually, when people do not use their time wisely, they get agitated and start feeling overwhelmed when faced with the reality of their unfinished tasks and deadlines.

When you use your time well, you save time and give yourself an advantage.

This way, you feel in control and do not need to stress.

This is because the unnecessary pressure and tense atmosphere that arise when you misuse time do not arise here.

5. Work-Life Balance

Having a work-life balance

A healthy work-life balance is only possible if you consistently use your time effectively.

When you create systems for effective time management in your work and adhere to them, you are more likely to have the time to develop a holistic life for yourself.

You have a more fulfilling and satisfying life that comprises healthy relationships, time, leisure, and health.

While money is essential and should be obtained, pursuing it should never replace personal time.

Apportioning time properly promotes an all-around happy life.

6. More Quality Time

Using time wisely is a win-win situation because you end up having more time.

With adequate time management and wise time usage, you can create more quality time for other things that matter to you.

When you use your time well, you can have time for important things like spending time with your loved ones, spreading joy and love to people in various ways, enjoying your hobbies, or simply resting and refreshing.

The importance of using time wisely cannot be overemphasized.

Mainly because it is a known fact that once time is lost, it cannot be regained.

Using time wisely requires conscious effort and strict discipline, especially in a world so consumed with social media and gadgets.

It would be best if you were deliberate about the things that take your time, or else; your time will lead you and not the other way around.

Even in pursuing a better life, you must avoid being so consumed in the chase that you forget that time is going by too.

Remember, while lost money can be found or made again, lost time cannot.
