Can you introduce yourself?
My name is Olamide Ademola, and I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Yorùbá. I have dedicated my life to promoting and preserving the Yorùbá language and culture.
What do you do professionally?
I am a Yorùbá teacher, public speaker, and content creator. Through my work, I aim to make a significant impact by expanding public knowledge and appreciation of Yorùbá culture and language.
How do you make an impact as a teacher?
As an educator, my primary mission is to share the beauty and richness of Yorùbá culture and language with a wide audience. By teaching, I believe I’m not only preserving our heritage but also empowering individuals to connect with their roots and foster cultural pride.
Who is your target audience?
I cater to everyone—both young and old. Yorùbá culture and language are for everyone willing to learn and embrace them.
Can you share some of your achievements?
By God’s grace, I have students within Nigeria and internationally who are learning Yorùbá from me. It’s heartwarming to see their progress and dedication to mastering the language.

Integrity is crucial. I strongly believe that life isn’t governed by miracles but by principles. Living by strong principles ensures a fulfilling and purpose-driven life.
Why is Yorùbá culture important to you?
Yorùbá culture is rich and beautiful, offering something for everyone to embrace. Every aspect of our culture—from dressing and hairstyles to language, greetings, and mannerisms—carries a profound message. Losing one’s culture is like losing one’s identity, leaving an individual vulnerable to external influences. Embracing our culture is a step toward preserving our heritage and safeguarding our identity.
